Trying to pick a favorite season is a very difficult decision for me. I usually vacillate among all four, but it is summer now. And because it is summer, it is my favorite. Summer brings to mind this verse, Psalms 126:2 – Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”  I love this verse, because the Lord has truly done great things for me, where do I even start?  Summer is for spending time with family and friends, it is for traveling to new sights and favorite old places, it is for definitely losing that weight (this time) and for making new resolutions (and keeping them).  It is for shopping, because last year’s dresses shrank (you know that’s true) and for playing outdoors.  Enjoy the summer, make time for family and friends, and try new things (good things). Remind yourself constantly that the Lord has done great things for you.

Remember that the best thing He can ever do for you has already been done.  He sent His Son to save you and to give you eternal life. Happy summer, my friends, and here are a few memories and favorite things so far….
