Happy, happy new year, friends. Welcome to 2026. How are you? How was 2025? Were you relieved when the year came to an end? Did you think the new year arrived too soon? I still cannot believe that 2025 has ended. Where did the time go? I had so many plans at the beginning of the year. I did accomplish a few of my goals, but I admit I allowed some things to fall by the wayside. Unfortunately, one of these is this blog. I was shocked when I looked at the statistics. I wrote six (6) blog posts in 2025. Six! Friends, I’m sorry, please forgive me. At this point, there is absolutely no excuse. I promise here and now to do better.

Time, time… time. Time seems to fly past. It appears to move at the speed of light. One of the verses I memorized last year comes to mind again and again. It’s a good one, don’t you think?

Hold fast to hope because our God is faithful to keep His promises. He cannot lie. He is not a man. Although this world appears to be hopeless, there is hope in our God. Even in the ugly, He is working it out for our good. He promised, we can trust Him to keep His promises.
Although I haven’t been here, I attempted to accomplish a few of my goals in my real life. Here is a look back at 2025. May our God be glorified. From January to December, People, places, things…

Share with us, a few goals you accomplished in 2025. What were some you failed to accomplish? Which of those will you attempt to complete in 2026?

I enjoyed your photos I can see that you kept busy last year.
My goodness – that much snow already. We just have had colder temps than usual, no snow yet, which is fine with me. 😊
I am glad you are back. Happy New Year! 🌺

We have received so much snow ❄️ in one day we got over 20 inches. We have been busy in 2025. But I do want to write more this year. May the Lord continue to richly bless you

We are certainly in the north. So far, we’ve received almost 80 inches of snow and January has just started. May the Lord grant us mercy 😅😅. God bless you, my friend

Glad to see you back, Brenda! From your photos it would appear you enjoyed a busy 2025, you spent delightful times outdoors, and you celebrated some special occasions. Your next blog post can include some background! For example, where were some of those lovely scenery photos taken? What was the occasion for those pretty rings on your(?) hand? What’s the significance of the butterfly-on-white-flower painting? (Your more curious readers would love to know!)

I’ve been wondering about you, Brenda. It’s great to see that you had a great 2025 in your “real” life. I love this thought, because how often we post doesn’t determine how fruitful we are with those closest to us. I applaud you for being so busy with your “brick and mortar” life that your digital life had to wait. Of course, I enjoy your posts, and have for years, but a digital presence can never replace flesh and blood connections. I pray you and your husband and daughters have a great 2026. Blessings!

Got a couple of my songs onto sheets, but my pianists and recording engineer dropped the ball for getting anything recorded before the end of 2025! Hopefully, soon, I will get to produce the tribute song to my Dad, The Years of Grace, that is first on the list.
Said goodbye to eight older friends who went to be with Jesus and one (in December ’24) that was younger than me. See his bio and hear his amazing voice at https://capost2k.wordpress.com/2024/12/07/tommy-skaggs-is-now-in-heavens-choir/

Wow 🤩 I can’t wait to hear your songs. Please do share when they are available. I lost a few friends too, thankfully they went into the Lord’s keeping. May the Lord be glorified.

So good to see you here, Brenda! Post as the Lord leads, that’s what I say.
Love your pictures, especially the heading, with your husband. I think, “This is what marriage looks like.” ☺️ Of course, we all know there are hills & valleys, but through it all is the certainty that we are together because God put us here.

Amen and amen 🙏🏽 indeed all the glory belongs to our God. Too many times I would have given up if He had not made it almost impossible. He is faithful always. May the Lord richly bless you

Love seeing your pictures! I love having glimpses into the lives of others on the same adventure we call life!
I don’t think I was very intentional about setting goals in 2025. But this year, I feel like there is some stepping out in faith that needs to be done and being more proactive about seeing accomplishments achieved. Not just thinking and planning, but actually doing.
My husband and I had some great opportunities for travel and ministry this past year. However, I think it was just a taste of what God has for us this year. So we’ll see what HE plans to do with us in 2026!
Happy New Year!
