Hey friends, how are you today? How was your week? Can you believe that we are a little more than six weeks away from Christmas and just about seven weeks before we ring in a new year, if the Lord allows? I’m just flabbergasted! Where did the time go?

Can you remember back in January of this year, when we were full of vigor and zeal, ready to take on the whole year by its throat and shake it into submission? Or was that just me? Or maybe I’m thinking about someone else? Time has blurred my memory. The pages of almost eleven months of our lives have turned and an almost complete story of 2023 has been told.

A few of my pages are filled to the brim, a few others are overflowing with goodness, but there are few pages that appear to be blank because I can’t remember them. I’ve noticed that these pages tended to be blank because I was fixated on myself and my wants and my desires. Nothing else and no one mattered. Blank pages…

Time is good because it allows us to be and do better. Time allows us let go of the past, let go of the things we cannot change. Time brings healing, it allows grace and mercy to take hold and urges us to surrender fully to the Lord. Time is good.

How are you today? How have you been lately?
Lately, on Instagram we have been sharing the things for which we are thankful. Check me out on Instagram. Let’s continue the conversation over on Instagram. Follow my Instagram and I will follow back, just let me know in the comment section. I would love to meet you 🙂

2023 was a pivotal year for me in many good ways. A couple “bad” ways, but that is just present perspective and not the hindsight perspective I will have later. 2024 holds many pleasant surprises I believe, not that there won’t be trials and tribulations, but I’m learning real good how to have joy in those. Not at 100%, but much closer than before 2023. Hugs.

“Time brings healing, it allows grace and mercy to take hold and urges us to surrender fully to the Lord.” AMEN to that, Brenda! You brought to mind a very difficult year in a previous chapter of my life. Time HAS brought healing. God’s grace and mercy HAS worked in my heart. I see more clearly than I did before that surrender to HIM is the ONLY sensible way to navigate pain and trouble. Praise God for being our Father of compassion, our loving Shepherd and Comforter!

Amen and amen 🙏🏽 when we rely on the Lord, He may allow us to ‘see’ what we missed. We can rejoice and be glad in our trials because He is the God of hope

This year has gone too fast! It has ran together too much. I wasn’t/am not ready for Summer to be over and here Fall is almost done. So much has happened and I feel it has been one thing after another with out time to process the moment or the lessons found in a moment. Today I had a day to slow down but my mind couldn’t quiet and nothing was accomplished and no time was reclaimed.
Yes, God is good, yet we can’t experience the extent of His goodness if we don’t find time to just abide.

I enjoyed your comments on time. Time indeed gives us time to improve, let go of the past, and bring healing. I am trying to take more time to enjoy, relax, and be still instead of constantly rushing. 🍂🌺

I do understand that slowing down has to be intentional, especially during this time of the year. Deliberately trying to relax and enjoy the beauty of our world
