Hey friends, how are you today? Happy 1st day of October, friends; can you believe it? October is here, October is here. Wasn’t it January just a few weeks ago? Where did the time go? In just a few months, the pandemic will be the world’s consuming topic for almost two whole years! Good grief!! I must admit when this pandemic came on the scene, I never envisioned the magnitude of its impact on our world and in our lives nor did I picture that we would still be suffering from its effects. The length and breathe of this pandemic have had far-reaching hands.

Sometimes, when we look at our circumstances, it’s difficult to remember the power and might of our God. It can be difficult to consider the length and breathe of the love of God in light of the hardships of our lives.

Just a gentle reminder that the Bible is true, that God is real, and His Word is alive. He is bigger than our problems, bigger than our mountains, bigger than everything created and imagined. His love is perfect and unwavering and unfailing and unconditional. In spite of us, He loves us.

Because He is mighty and powerful and because He loves completely, He gives us what we do not deserve and what we have not earned. He freely gives rest, hope, joy, and peace. All we ever have to do is believe and accept it.

He said it, whether I believe it or not; His Word remains true. But it more profitable for me to believe and trust that He will always do what He says. He did not abdicate His throne, He did not leave us unattended. He cares; He loves.
How are you today? What are your plans for the month of October? Do they include your trust in the Lord in spite of whatever come your way?

I agree, I’m so shocked that we are still talking pandemic..I never would’ve imagined it to drag on so long. BUT like your post portrays, God is still who He says He is and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!! Therein lies our hope.

For your question; I’m doing well! And for October plans… I’m just trusting God with everything in me currently cos I lost my whole salary of the month and have no means to survive.. but I do trust that my God will supply all my needs according to his bountiful riches in glory!!!

Beautiful photos! You look so cute. October, yay! It’s my birthday month and the Texas heat finally starts to fade away. I’m going to Moab to visit my sister. I’ve been uncertain about going, due to my health and my husband’s health, but I finally decided to go ahead with the plan that we made months ago. Please pray that I don’t catch anything or get overly tired and have a setback. But, as you say, God is in control! Blessings!

I love that: God is always truth, and I can believe it or not; but it is more profitable for me to believe.

So much wisdom in your post today. I copied this paragraph into my notes so that I can read it again and again: Just a gentle reminder that the Bible is true, that God is real, and His Word is alive. He is bigger than our problems, bigger than our mountains, bigger than everything created and imagined. His love is perfect and unwavering and unfailing and unconditional. In spite of us, He loves us.
