Adorn the Doctrine of God: Live a Beautiful Christian Life

Hey friends, how are you today? Wow I still can’t believe it’s November. Where did the time go? I’m not ready for the new year.  So, today I will bask in the unseasonably warm weather, we’ve been experiencing here in CNY.  Fall has come and gone, but beauty still exist in the almost bare trees.  The multi-colored leaves have so completely covered the grounds, that the grass cannot be seen.  Even in there lies beauty.

I’ve been reading the book of Titus in the New Testament.  In chapter two 2️⃣, the Apostle Paul tells Titus to ‘exhort bondservants.  He ends verse 10, by saying, “…that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things”.  That they may ‘adorn’.  Isn’t that a beautiful word? Adorn… to make more beautiful or attractive.

The Apostle Paul tells Titus to encourage bondservants to live godly lives. To live life so abundantly, that the love of God becomes a beacon to the world.  He urges them ‘to be well pleasing in all things.’ Live peaceable, joyful lives built on the foundation of love for God and his people.

Imagine living life in such a way that we adorn the doctrine of God.  Is there anything more beautiful? I do not think even the beauty of fall can compare.

Inspirational message reading, “Have a blessed day and remember: God’s love is unfailing, unwavering and unconditional. Let us resolve to being intentional in our walk with the Lord today.”
