MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hey friends, how are you today? What are your plans for Christmas Day? Although, I have … well,  I am still learning actually, to take life one day at a time and not to make presumptions about days in the future, I think I can say with some degree of accuracy, our Christmas Day will certainly be different (that was a mouthful, wasn’t it?).

Anyway, I love this time of year, with all the festivities and joy it usually brings and I really want to wish you a wonderful Christmas this year.  There are some traditions that will not be fulfilled this year, but that’s beyond our control.  Let us choose to accept the changes and enjoy the gift that this day has brought to us. We will be taking the rest of this week and next week off, but before we go, we would like to say …

A big and hearty thank you for your encouragement throughout 2020,  you made my heart glad.  Thank you for the inspiration through your posts.  Thank you for the motivation in the comments and likes and follows.  Thank you, although I’ve not been as consistent as in previous years, your presence on the blog gave me the impetus to continue this work. It meant a lot to me, more so this year, and I look forward to better in the new year. You’ve challenged and encouraged; I’ve felt your love and care throughout the year and I most certainly appreciate you.

You are all special to me, but there are a few whose consistency stand out. We have been together awhile, haven’t we? Special thanks to you. I do consider you my friends, indeed. May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly.

  4. Christmas is very different for me this year. There are quite a few traditions that I had to forego this year. I’m pretty down about it. But, I’ll make the best of it. Have a safe, blessed, and Merry Christmas to you and yours, Brenda. P.S. I love the family Christmas photo

  5. Merry Christmas, Brenda and to your beautiful family as well. May Father continue to guide you and give you wisdom, love and grace in the New Year. Maybe this could be the year of our Lord’s return?? No date or hour, of course, but the time is getting short. Even so, come Lord Jesus!! 🙂

  6. Merry Christmas, dear friend! I do love the love and encouragement on your blog – your words and the whole community here that you inspire.
I pray light and closer ties and God’s Spirit intensely in your home as you enjoy your family.
I love your family photo; but your header on my computer cuts off the top. 😟

  7. Thank you, Brenda.

I always look forward to your asking, “ How are you today?”

As I’ve said before, often you-on any given day-are the only person who asks me that question!

I plan to check out the blogs you mentioned. If you like them, I bet I will too!

I’m a relative newbie around here, but it’s been fun seeing how blogging should be done by following pros like you!

This Christmas, my wife and plan to stay at home and FaceTime with our extended family who all live in other states.

Blessings to you this Christmas and into 2021!

PS. I love your family Christmas photo!

    • FaceTime has been the way to go; quite a few of our family members are out of the country, thankfully there’s WhatsApp. I’m happy to have ‘met’ you, my friend David 😄 wishing you a very merry Christmas and wonderful new year. May the Lord bless you

  8. Bless you, Brenda, for your encouragement and love. Indeed, Christmas is different this year, but celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior is front and center. Family visits? Postponed. But Jesus came just at the right time, so I’m believing that this Christmas is coming at just the right time to encourage the hearts of Christians. Merry, merry Christmas, my friend and may the Lord continue to bless you just as you bless your readers!
