LET’S PARTY… BLOG PARTY (3)

Hey friends, how am I doing? Why thank you for asking…. I am doing well.  It’s a beautiful day in my neighborhood. The cicadas are so loud, they’ve drowned out every other sound, including that of the birds.  But that’s okay, because cicadas herald the warmth of a new day. I know it’s going to be a warm day, because the cicadas say so.  Well actually, I know it’s going to be a good day, because the God of Universe is still in control. I know for a fact, He did not abdicate His throne.  How do I know that? Well, you’re just asking all the right questions today, aren’t you? Because the Bible tells me so; that’s why!

And there is also this one, although there are many, many more verses just like these in the Bible. Did you read your Bible today? You should take the time to do so, if you didn’t. I promise, you will not regret it.

Aren’t these wonderful, reassuring, settling verses? Sometimes when I’m anxious or afraid (yes, although I have been adulting for a while now, the world can still frighten me, at times) I ‘go to the ROCK that is higher than I’ (Psalm 61:2).

Guess what time it is? Guess what!?

It’s PARTY TIME!!

Everyone is invited; you do not have to share my faith to participate.

LET’S GET THE PARTY STARTED!!

Here are some simple rules:

First off, everyone is welcome to participate in this Blog Party (even if you do not currently follow me, although I would LOVE it if you do!)

If you are a new follower of my blog, say hi and let me know so that I can remember to drop by your blog and check you out.

Leave a Comment! Say hi and tell us who you are and what your blog is about. Feel free to leave a link connecting back to your blog’s home page or to your favorite or most recent blog post! (Post this only once please.)

Mix and Mingle! This is where the party begins. I am blessed to have almost 3,000 followers and this is a great opportunity for many of my friends to meet each other. You guys are amazing, and I think a lot of you would enjoy meeting and following one another.

Because we are still celebrating summer, be sure to say what you’ve done, so far, along with your other comments!

ONE MORE THING…  Well 2 more, but won’t take long, I promise)

Remember, you never have to follow anyone just because they follow you. However, it is good manners to always return a page visit for a page visit. Did someone stop by your blog, like or leave a comment? Do the same for them! It only takes a minute.

Don’t forget to REBLOG! Spread the fun by encouraging your own followers to join in the party! This is the best way to attract new bloggers by spreading the word.

Let’s continue the conversation over on Instagram. Follow my Instagram and I will follow back, just let me know in the comment section.

Processing…
Success! You're on the list.

On my blog I write about how Jesus has and is working in my life—it’s real and raw and sometimes bittersweet stuff that I share, but always points back to Him!

  3. Thanks for stopping by my page! I’ll continue to check out your recent posts. 💕 My husband and I have been together for 8 years, married for 4, and have been trying to conceive for 3 years. God tests our faith every day and I can say all of this pain we’ve felt is going to lead to something beautiful. My personal blog: https://kirstencoulter.wordpress.com/

  4. Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog. I am honored with each like or comment I receive. My blog is about my journey as I transition from being a lay person to a pastor. Right now, most of my posts are devotional studies on various biblical books as I work my way through seminary. I also post a random ministry, seminary, or ranch update as they happen, but I find my readers prefer the devotions. I usually attach a photo with my posts, mostly because I like to dabble in photography.

I love this party idea. I’m glad I stopped by to say hi.

  5. Hey! I think I might have missed the party but I made it. 🙂 Any good “reads” left? LOL I’m fairly new to blogging, about 4 months now, but I believe that this is where God can use me. He has been developing my online ministry and has even allowed me to birth two books through this process. The start of this blog was part of my exit strategy out of my wilderness experience into my OVERWHELMING VICTORY! Come and check me out when you have a chance at http://myfaithexpressions.blog. Remember that You are More than Enough because God is enough. Don’t Look Back. Finish the Process. And hey, if everyone’s already left the party, I’ll try to catch you next time. Be blessed!

  6. This party is a great idea! Thank you! I’m Patty, and I started blogging in order to tell our story of living life with our son, Aaron. Aaron is our adult son who has Epilepsy and Autism. I love sharing the joys and the challenges of life with Aaron. I also love sharing God’s goodness and love that I so often experience. Aaron is amazing, and God certainly is as well. Here is a recent blog about Aaron’s desire to someday be married: https://hesaidwhatks.blog/2019/07/23/a-girlfriend/

I’m looking forward to reading many of the blogs posted in these comments!

  9. Love the sound of cicadas and your reminders – blog party how fun – how long have you been blogging. My first year with a post a day – theme word for the year is diligent and I am living it out by writing more and posting daily – don’t have much of a following yet and not really sure how to gain one but I am being obedient with the plan God laid on my heart – the blog is called BeTheChurch with the tag line: and the world will Be a better place – do check it out and comment, like, follow – I love the Lord and how He uses words creatively to reach our hearts – that’s my goal and desire as I write each day at: https://bethechurch.home.blog/

  11. Hi Brenda,
I have enjoyed following you, and I look forward to meeting your other friends. My blog developed out of my county jail bible study. Those women are so honest and broken. They ask such great questions and I have such a good time with them. God called me to write about my recovery from mental strongholds and healing painful memories. My book is called “Hope for Complete Healing,” which I hand out to each woman who comes to my Bible study. I include a copy of it on my website: https://hopeforcompletehealing.com

I am currently editing my book called “Unseen Battles for Your Mind,” which is based on my experience working with the girls in the county jail. Hope to meet everyone soon. God Bless (:

  12. Hey I hope I’m not to late! I took a quick read at everyone’s comments, this is a good looking group.😊 My blog is http://www.LorieTalksLife.com and that’s what I do, share my observations on life to be an encouragement to others. Maybe they can learn from my mistakes. I love Jesus and share what I know of God and the Bible. My summer has been spent mostly working, saving my vaca for the fall. Here’s a novice blogger question: What’s a pingback and how does one so that? Will someone pass the chips please?

  13. Loving all the encouragement here–praise God from whom all blessings flow!! I agree with your note about bloggers not having to follow everyone, but it is polite to at least visit those who show up to like a post you’ve written. That’s been my habit since I began blogging 8 years ago (many different blogs!)–and it’s the way I meet some wonderful people whose blogs I DO want to follow. May God bless you so abundantly–see you around 🙂 ❤ Fleur

  15. Brenda, my blog Delightful Repast is a place where I like to share my comfort food with flair, encourage the family dinner (minus electronic distractions), promote kindness and positivity. And I’ve begun sneaking in one of my little watercolors where appropriate, such as in this week’s Baked Acorn Squash post, https://www.delightfulrepast.com. Like you, I think it is good manners to reciprocate when someone visits my blog and leaves a comment. Thank you for the party.

  16. Wow! Thanks Brenda this is a very kind and thoughtful gesture. I welcome this party with open arms. This really blesses me.🙏🏼🙏🏼

The primary reason for my blog is to encourage others to continue living for Christ. I do so by sharing the word, which is food for life as well as share my personal experiences. My passion for writing grew after the death of my dad at a very tender age…spiritual maturity followed my tragedy experience
    My blog is fayannswearing.wordpress.com

Blessings to you and the family!

  17. This is so fun Brenda! I enjoyed reading each of the comments and seeing what a diverse group of other bloggers are here. Hi everyone! My blog is written to empower Christians in their walk with Jesus. It began with a focus on women, but has stretched and grown and includes a wider audience. I wake up each morning, pray, read scripture, and write what is on my heart. I am a mom of five littles, a teacher, and woman with a desire to see people, myself included, accessing all God has prepared and planned for us. If you would like a dose of daily encouragement, my blog is braveblessedandbeautiful.com 🙂
Thank you Brenda for hosting such a fun gathering of like minded, yet diverse people!

  18. Hi, Brenda, the “blog party” idea is pretty cool. I enjoy your posts and graphics, and I am IMPRESSED with the regularity of your posts. i.e., I’m still working on a more-often schedule, and you do a great job with that. Incidents and situations from everyday life remind me of Scriptures or Scriptural principles, so I write about how the Lord uses the simplicity of everyday life to remind us of His goodness, His wisdom, His plan for us to walk as sons and daughters and joint-heirs with Jesus. (debfrostwrites.com) I also have a photo website, innercreek.com, and have started utilizing the blog portion of that to discuss photography ideas; I also show beautiful photos, learn about hashtags (!), and post on Instagram. My tagline to Inner Creek is, “Where Living Water and pools of reflection flow together.” My theme for photography is pretty much “God is an Artist.” Blessings!!

  19. I am a follower of Jesus Christ; a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. I love my country, and I protest some of the things our government has done and is doing. Some people might think I’m an enigma; I just say, it’s not complicated. 😊 A Radical Conservative. (Look it up) My blog is FindingMyVoiceWeb. Awesome as always, Brenda!

  20. Hi Brenda — I love summer too! I was challenged to set “fun goals” for this week as well as work goals. I sit finished my last one: this week I ran my favorite trail, hiked a new trail, swam outside, and bikes in the Erie Canal path.
My husband Dan and I have two young adult sons, and together we are a roller-coaster-riding, travel-loving, blue-hair-dying family. We love Jesus and each other, but there is still a certain amount of sarcasm and sass.I blog to infuse courage into the soul-weary, especially parents who have kids with mental illness. 21. Amen Brenda! Thank you for the blog party too! As you know, I blog about Jesus and I share the Gospel. My blog is all about helping people come to know Jesus, helping people understand the Bible, and ministering to a lost and hurting world. I also share my testimony of the supernatural way I came to know Jesus and the supernatural life I have had while following Him. My published testimony is on Amazon and is called “One Man’s Very Strange Supernatural Life.” My blog is at: https://authorryanc.com

I always enjoy reading your blog Brenda! God bless you and the fam!
