HEY! HEY! YOU THERE!

Well hello there, special friends.  How are you, today, just today? In fact, how are you doing now, right this minute? I don’t want to put you on the spot, but did you start your day with the Lord? Did you begin your day, intentionally seeking the Lord through His Word, determining to submit to His authority? No? Okay…I’ll wait right here for you.  Go ahead, spend time with Him.  He is still waiting for you, He wants to hear about your day, tell Him everything.  Seriously, nothing I have to say, takes precedence over what the Lord has to say to you. I’ll wait for you, and then you can tell us all about your time with Him.  What passage are you reading? Psa 34 32Now isn’t this a beautiful verse? Go ahead, read it again.  Psalms 34:22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.  I love the promises found there.  The Lord literally provides redemption and He exonerates us.  Wow! I love my God! But I missed something, didn’t I? He redeems the soul of His SERVANT and NONE of those who TRUST in Him shall be condemned. That’s good news, isn’t it?   Romans 8: 1 reminds us of this promise.  It’s a good one, because sometimes the enemy of our soul reminds us over and over again of our past.  He subtly whispers our faults and tells us we are unlovable.  We’re too broken, we can’t be fixed.  We’ve made too many mistakes, we simply can’t be forgiven. Ahhh, but we know that’s a lie, right! We know that salvation came to us through our Lord, Jesus Christ, because we are loved by the Most High God  (John 3:16) and do you know what He says? Do you, do you? He says, “Not Guilty”!! Say it with me my friends, “NOT GUILTY”.  The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.   All my sins, not just some of them, but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! Yes, my friends, the Creator of the Universe proclaims you and me… NOT GUILTY!!!”  Nothing and no one can take you away from the All-Powerful God (John 10:28). These reassurances are given to everyone who becomes a servant of God by accepting Christ as their Savior.  As we trust the Lord more and more in our daily lives, the voice of our enemy fades in time. The more time we spend in the Word, this voice gradually dims, because the Keeper of our souls cements our foundation in Him. Yes, my friends find rest in the arms of our loving Savior.  He is faithful and gracious and merciful and loving.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who have taken the time to follow the blog.  I am humbled by your comments and likes on the posts.  May the Lord be honored on this adventure.

  2. Great post! He took our condemnation on Himself so we wouldn’t have to!
I’ve been reading the sermon on the mount. This morning I was looking at how we are to seek our reward from God instead of man. I also noticed how the cure for anxiety is recognizing our worth in God’s eyes. Some people think that because we were not worthy of God’s forgiveness, then we are worthless to Him. That’s a sad mixing up of terminology. Matthew 6:26 is one of many verses that tells us we are worth MUCH to Him! Praise God!

  4. The verse that has been highlighted to me lately is “Be still & know that I am God” Ps 46 :10
I have chronic health issues, including chronic pain… To BE has been a learning curve for me as I have always been a doer… but we do need to be still to know that He is God in our lives, then we can hear that gentle quiet voice of His…wooing & teaching us…

You’re most welcome to drop by for a cup of inspiration anytime!
