This, ladies and gentlemen, is our bathroom sink. This is our cat, Jazz. This isn’t my doing, I promise. I did not put her in there, anyone with a cat knows, cats NEVER do what we want them to do (reminds me of people). Why is Jazz in our bathroom sink?
We have been blessed with fifty four days in 2018, that’s 54 days out of 365. How are you doing? What has the year brought to your door? There are a ‘multitude’ of us who claim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. But this question will be answered differently for each of us, as we look back on the past 54 days. For some, it has been all ‘sunshine and roses’ and for others, the showers just kept on coming. But even in these two scenarios, each journey is yet again different. We are unique and special to the Almighty God. He has tailored our journey to befit every one of us. We are all heading in the same direction (or we should be) (I pray that we are moving ahead and not backwards), but each person has their own tailor made journey with the Lord.
Psalms 139:16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
As we ‘work out our salvation’ (Philippians 2:12,13) we must remember that ‘comparison is the thief of joy’ (Theodore Roosevelt). In the sight of the Holy and Righteous God, we are all special and beautiful, He does not love me more than you (wish He did). He has outfitted us with unique roles and tasks to express that difference with one sole purpose. Guess what it is? Can you guess? Oh come on… guess? Okay then… I’ll tell you. That purpose is to bring glory to our Heavenly Father.
Isaiah 43:7 Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
The Lord desires that our lives display His love, His grace, His mercy, His compassion, His forgiveness. Today; let tomorrow take care of itself (Matthew 6:34) let us not be ‘weary in well doing’, let us ‘go the extra mile’.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

It’s easy to forget when we sometimes get lost in the busyness of life, or when life throws us these curve balls. But our God is faithful and loving, we can trust Him

It certainly has been a time when it rains it pours. But God has used a lot of this trial to teach me endurance, and that He is always there 🙂

My February has gone fast! Can’t believe next week is March…oh my! Thus far my 54 days has brought some thinking challenges..lol, let’s just say March is going to be filled with those thought provoking blogs! Relationship wise, I’m learning that God is indeed my EVERYTHING! and while I’ve always had this clinging desire to be Christ filled and and Christ like, this year just seems like – I’m actually trying my best to make sure simple distractions doesn’t interrupt my time with him.

I know how hard to spend time with the Lord when there are so many things vying for our attention. We persist though. You are on the right path and I pray that the Lord will bless you abundantly
