Hi there, how are you today?  How was your week? Has it been one of THOSE weeks?  You know, the one where everything that can go wrong, did go wrong.  Or perhaps you had a great week and things, in your section of the globe was just wonderful.  In spite of the kind of day you are having, it is possible to be at peace and to find rest in the arms of the Almighty God.   Do you know, you are beautiful and your worth is beyond measure? You are special to the Creator, Almighty, All-powerful God.  You matter to Him.  Your hopes, your dreams, your desires, they all matter to a Loving and Gracious God.  Do not ever believe that He leaves any prayer unanswered. You matter to Him, but sometimes what you ask for isn’t best for you, (HE KNOWS You, He will always, always do what’s best for you). At times, there’s selfishness at the root of the prayers, and because of His love for you, He desires that you grow closer toward loving others a little more.  Sometimes, He just says to wait, perhaps even for a few years, trust He has not and will never abandon you.  You matter to Him. You are special.  You are unconditionally loved.  You were designed by a Merciful God, every inch of you; from the ‘crown of your head to the soles of your feet’.  Your worth isn’t in tangible things, but rather is found in the Creator God.  You are created in His image and for His Glory.  You matter!   

See this flower, with all its beauty, it is secondary to the beauty, the Lord sees in you. Nothing in creation holds a candle to you.  You matter!  It is easy to forget, isn’t it?  Day after day, taking care of everyone, with so many things to juggle, it is easy to forget, that you matter to a Caring God.  Heads up, child of God, chin up, straighten the spine, shoulders back, smile and laugh more, and stand on the promises of God.
